Pink Floyd
Talking Heads after the first one.
Pink Floyd
Talking Heads after the first one.
The entire genre of black metal. Corny.
I also don't like New Bomb Turks.
Jawbreaker is one of the worst things I have ever heard only made worse by bands that are inspired by them.
@Johnny Sick Radiohead for me too. I can see why people like it though.
Radiohead
Queens Of The Stoneage
The Kills
Led Zeppelin
Grateful Dead
Based on the reissues thread, I am adding......
the Stains.
Maybe hearing a physical release would change my mind, but the downloads I have heard do nothing for me.
Franz Ferdinand
The Greatful Dead
Fleetwood Mac
Mac Demarco
I'll tell you who I can't stand: Neutral Milk Hotel. I wasn't a fan to begin with (as they're shit) but after dating a lass who had the In an Aeroplane cover tattooed on her back, they belong in Room 101 for overexposure.
The Jam, The Jesus and the Mary Chain, outside of a few tracks by each.
STAINS Lp isn't that good and people only say it's great because it's raEr. The guitar sounds really good but everything else is very meh especially the lyrics (see: "get revenge")
Metallica
The Cars
Racking my brain for strong offender to my ears.
I guess The Clash besides "Spanish Bombs". So that doesn't really count....I guess.
Deerhoof?
I thought of another one
The Screaming Females. I don't know why so many punk fans like them. They stink!
@sicboy I think some of their popularity is just flying the DIY flag heavy, I think there's a generation of indie kids here who definitely take a lot from them and not just musically. I don't mind 'em. Jeff Rosenstock hits a similar note, total road dog, keeps it econo yet seems to have a lot of momentum. I'm not a fan though.
ween cream
Fugazi
Sheer Mag
Subhumans (UK)
Paranoid (Sweden)
Flower
Sonic Youth
Minutemen
Megadeth
Cathedral (actually I only like one EP)
The Smiths/Morrissey
Most black metal
I also came to the realization that I don't really like the Stooges apart from a couple of tracks.
How has no on said.......
Joy Division.
Just me?
@Clif I love Joy Division, but I really don't like Closer as an album at all. So dour and plodding. Well-recorded sure, but a slog. Overall I much prefer New Order.
@Allez Al all of that is fine and good, but they have zero tracks
