I'm still loving TPR but I'm getting that 7-year itch again. Plus, I'm getting to that age where you realize you only have so much time on this planet and you have to fit in as much as you can. I need a new outlet, a new vision, a new lease. Well here it is. Some people buy fancy sports cars for their midlife crisis, but I'm too poor to afford one and too cheap to pay the speeding tickets so I decided to start a new record label. MIND MELD is a bit more intellectually lofty than my previous endeavors. Don't worry I haven't started wearing ascots yet although I did just buy my first collared shirt. The concept behind MIND MELD is to release a series of introspective, weird and sometimes uncomfortable solo recordings from some of my favorite current artists. Be it a collection of home recordings, a brand new project, or another record under their current namesake, what's most important is that these records are 100% made, played and recorded by these individuals.
