MIDDLE EDGE, a band active mainly in Tokyo and Ibaraki, and we are excited to announce the release of their first LP.

They formed in 2012 when members from PERFECTFORM, who had previously released 7" through our label, met with members of BALLOON ON THE PIN.

After releasing one demo, two 7” records, one split 12” with TVTV record, and contributing to a V.A. (Scrap!), we have finally completed the first album.

The album is based on the sound of Late 70s UK Punk and Post-Punk, drawing influences from bands like The Stranglers, Warsaw~Joy Division, The Outsiders~The Sound, and Killing Joke.

It blends unconventional yet solid backing with emotionally dynamic vocals and guitar, creating what we feel is our best collection to date.

The recording was handled by current members Katana and Takakura, with Katana also taking on mixing and mastering. This album is a labor of love, fully completed by us, marking our first fully self-produced work!
