I asked Joe to wait till we could discuss it further to share the rather unfortunate news of the Simps demise, but clearly he imbibed too much brandy on the Spanish shores of the Mediterranean and spilled the beans.  Sadly the news is true and The Simps are no more. Joe, always the crafty one, made some back alley deals and passed on all Simps remaining obligations to Nantucket’s young upstarts The Educated Fools, including the last two records of the Simps five record deal with Total Punk.  The Fools have much loftier aspirations than their predecessors, so in order to dispel with the remainder of their contract with Total Punk have submitted a live 2xLP as their debut/ the final Simps album. Over the course of four sides the Fools cover some of their favorites from The Simps back catalog as well as the unreleased tracks which were intended for the Simps fourth album “Singing In The Shower With…” The age of THE SIMPS is behind us, all hail the age of the FOOLS!
