New 7" from New Smyrna's Future Bartenderz. The solo beach condo project from Brian Costello (Outer Minds, Functional Blackouts, Johnny & The Limelites). Brian is a funny guy so by extension his lyrics are funny. This combined with the fact that he's got a vast knowledge of music and likes  to toy with different genres sometimes gets him pegged as a parody act, but catching a live Future Bartenderz set and seeing his conviction quickly puts that to rest.  Often a crowd goes from immediately writing him off to taking part in a conga line over the course of ten minutes. This combined with the fact that the guy can really pen a tune, and nails every genre right down to the lyrics while still putting the FBZ twist on it and has recorded over 100 of these songs over the last two years is quite an accomplishment. I'm happy to see him finally get four of these songs pressed to vinyl and share them with the world. Hopefully there's more to come. In the meantime get yourself some FUN!
