My prayers have been answered, phorums have returned. Long Live The Dead!
I was a long time poster on the old RFTC/Swami Records phorum. Thankfully all the active folks became real life friends before it vanished. Stoked to be back on the boards.

Same. I get that Termbo kinda got bogged down by, well, a lot of shit for the last few(?) years of it's life, but I still feel like Rich/the mods could've/should've just banned a couple of turds instead of nuking the whole thing. Lots of good info gone forever. Thanks to Rich Jr. for making this happen!
By the time I looked at joining Termbo it was a full on Scharpling and Wurster bit. Every poster might as well been PowerPop PopPop.
I'm still on vlv, but only old curmudgeons remain.
@sicboy woah! I had no idea that still existed
@Randall the board is half broken and registrations are closed but it's fairly active lol
Garagepunk hideout is still around but mostly just crickets.
Yaaaaaaaaay
Idk if this outs me as uncool but anyone remember the Nothing Nice to Say webcomic forum?
Termbo was good while Soriano was watching everything, it moreso became super boring because of who was left, and shiny new social media gutted the rest. It didn't help that the site barely functioned in terms of articles or reviews anymore. It's a shame, it was fun.
@Scrodd Prickknee Always found it odd that social media could gut the forum landscape in the way that it has. I way prefer this model to scrolling through a bunch of pics.
@Mark Smith I'm ok with it, or I was. There aren't any good platforms left, and they're all owned by fuckfaces. Happy this is here now.
Thanks for the new board, Rich!
@Mark Smith Agreed. I find its structure so much easier to manage.
This is the correct way to interact with people on the internet
Also an old lurker on RFTC & Swami boards, and really happy to see a return to forums. No algorithms, no apps, just posts. This is the internet I want.
I miss the meme and GIF wars that raged thru MOC in the 2010s. RIP.
It's nice to dip into a forum again.
