Why hasn't this been reissued yet?

  • @SukebeGG Yes. But the original Turbines albums are easy to find , they don't even cost that much. The 2x4's CDr is almost all with unreleased material and not easy to find ... but I want vinyl!

  • End Of The World by Mofungo. Released on cassette in 1980 and never reissued

  • Saccharine Trust - Surviving You, Always (1984). Seemingly forever stuck in eternal 2nd tier (success-wise) SSD Records limbo, along with all of Angst and a couple others too. Yeah i get it, Mr. Ginn. Why reissue that when you're doing just fine with that steady Black Flag and Hüsker Dü income?

  • Jon Wayne - two graduated jiggers

    Entire Unbalance records output

  • @Groschi  Someone, bass player maybe, released a remastered Surviving You Always on Spotify. Hope someone makes a physical copy of that.

  • @Clif Whoa, i hadn't noticed that! I could swear it was the only album from their original run not available on streaming just a short while ago.

  • Dieter Meier and first Fresh Color 7"s, please.

    Also, Endtables on 7".

  • @icki

    Endtables on 7"

Love them. I have the reissue in the extended version (12'') released by Drag City Records

  • @dirty knobber my understanding is that mecht mensch is happening still very slowly, but yeah it is a different label than the one that was gonna do it around 2012...last update i grabbed from june 2024 was "update is we’ve got everything sourced and are getting negatives of live photographs transferred as well as original flyers/artwork. We are doing this right so we are sorry for the delay but it will be well worth it!" https://www.instagram.com/p/CiWA2XvrKjM/?img_index=1

  • actually there's this from yesterday "got two dozen tracks mastered. Waiting on a rights clearance for one last track. We will see if it pans out. Giving it due diligence in an attempt to get the tracks on the release."

  • i really wish the candy machine full lengths would get reissued on vinyl (they were only ever on cd) but i don't know if there's any market for that.

  • @kai that's great news!

  • Dandelion Abortion. Paul Mahern's post-Zero Boys, pre-Datura Seeds band. With members of Slammies. Punk/post-punk/psych rock. Every few years there's rumors of a release but it never seems to happen

  • Hey everyone,

We made a new  forum and moved it over to the below address. I was hoping to transfer over everything posted this last week but the developers of this app won't get back to me, and it kind of sucks.  The old forum will be up for like one more week in case you want to look up any stuff mentioned here or transfer stuff over, but head over to the new forum to post because this will all be gone relatively soon. You don't have to create a new account. Just click log in and enter the email address you used for this forum. However, once logged in you will have to edit your profile and add back your nickname and avatar. Instructions for all that are pinned to the top of the new forum.  Head on over and get posting.  Thanks again everyone and sorry this one is already busted, but it will be worth it.
