Just watched Pusher (1996), very strongly recommend it if you like crime films. Incredibly dark and dingy, and never tries to make you believe that the criminal lifestyle is glamorous in any extent. Makes you feel better about your day job. Don't watch it if you're already having a stressful day though.
Another good film is The Firm (1989) starring a young Gary Oldman as an insane football hooligan. The film's budget must've been £50 and a packet of chips but it's killer from start to finish. This and Tiptoes (2003) always reminds me that Oldman was doing some wild shit back in the day lmao.
