The second EP by Chicago’s Ejaculators is exactly what I want out of a punk record, snotty, angry, irreverent, catchy, fun, and still hasn’t lost track of the fact the world is a nasty fucked up place and worth voicing something about. Even if what is being voiced isn’t the most eloquent, its heartfelt and something you can resonate with. Musically coming from a place many would describe as somewhere between ‘77 punk, and LA’s The Screamers, but Ejaculators have now struck lightning twice and are on the way to cementing their sound as “Ejaculators Style”. Limited colors were supposed to be clear mixed with white, but frankly we’re a little disappointed with the amount of “ejaculate” the plant mixed in, so we’re calling this the “Shooting Blanks” color vinyl.
